How quickly can I get an appointment?
We try to see emergency cases for rashes, poison ivy, or other emerging issues the same day or the next day. Our regular patients can count on timely appointments and the convenient availability we’re known for.
What can I expect at a skin check?
One of our dermatologists will examine your skin from head to toe for any unusual moles, spots, or growths. The exam is quick, painless, and essential for early skin cancer detection.
Is there anything you can do for hair loss?
Yes! There are some effective treatments for hair loss. We’ll help determine why it’s happening and the options available for you.
What SPF should I use?
We recommend all patients apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least 30 SPF daily. If you’ll spend extended time outdoors, choose a 50+ SPF sunscreen and reapply every two hours or after sweating or swimming.
Do you see infants and children?
Yes, our practice accepts new patients of all ages. We are experienced in the diagnosis of common childhood skin ailments and conditions, from eczema and cradle cap (seborrheic dermatitis) to diaper rash and skin infections.
What dermatologic conditions do you specialize in?
At Landmark Dermatology we provide comprehensive care for nearly every type of skin condition patients may face throughout their lifetime, including acne, alopecia (hair loss), actinic keratosis, boils, cysts, contact dermatitis, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), fungal infections, herpes, hives, moles, nail abnormalities, psoriasis, rashes, rosacea, shingles, skin cancer, skin tags, sun damage, warts, wrinkle reduction, and vitiligo.
Do you offer cosmetic dermatology?
Patients appreciate the option to have cosmetic procedures handled by a medical doctor who knows and understands their skincare history. We don’t push patients to add these services, which are often not covered by medical insurance, but we do offer them as part of our comprehensive dermatological services. Services include Botox, Juvéderm, chemical peels, and treatments for hair loss, aging skin, and scar reduction.
